Dawnbringer has both horns and ears, and he doesn’t allow anyone to touch them. Not anymore, that is. After receiving the void blessing, nobody is allowed to get their hands close to his (lack of a) face. Considering his face was “ripped off” during the process, what remained is still very sensitive, and slightly painful too. Besides, DB doesn’t trust anyone to be gentle enough to touch him without hurting him.
He was tricked by an old friend to accept The Unknown’s blessing. His beauty was one of his best traits, and a weapon he used against others. When he essentially lost it due to this betrayal, DB didn’t want anyone to see or touch him.
On the other hand, only the base of his ears are sensitive, since they’re closer to the hole in his face. His horns are entirely sensitive, to the point it can be ticklish. Dawnbringer sees it as a weakness.
On a similar note, his wings are also off limits. Especially the interior, where it’s most vulnerable - like a real bird’s. While he enjoys spreading his wings and showing them off, he hates the idea of anyone even getting close to them. Deep down, he’s afraid of losing what he has left.
He’s only truly okay with people touching his hands, but only if he can see it. If he were to open up again to someone else, he’d enjoy having his ears caressed. The horns? Not so much.
