Tosa knows how predictable she is with her hobbies and likes. Her favorite time of day is no exception. Since her first contract it hasn't changed, and she can't imagine it will.
To her, nothing will ever compare to a quiet dusk. Finding a clear place to sit on grass just starting to grow damp with the cold of night and watching the sun cast those final few rays between branches. It's beautiful on its own, but it isn't why she favors the night.
Just after the sun sets is when the fireflies emerge from the tall grasses around her. Such small flickers of light dancing across the landscape, but they never fail to make an immeasurable impact on her.
Perhaps it's cliche of her to always assign them such reason and importance. To compare them to her hopes and worries. To think of how she lends herself to guide others in their darkest moments and let herself now, in this barren field, for once, be the one swept away by the promising light of pinprick beacons.
It's exhausting for Tosa to fulfill her contracts. She wonders if her very first- if her... existence? Was it all a mistake? But these questions don't matter here as the night settles into place. Tosa doesn't matter- and that's the greatest relief she could ask for.
