Tosa gently blew on the cup, sending the steam wafting away from them. Any of the nearby fluttering insects scattered as well, bringing a small smile to Tosa’s lips.
She was back on the hill of her first contract, a place she always seemed to gravitate back to every few months. A little extra stress or worry in her life? Better think it over on the Contract Hill.
Nothing made that time better than a warm cup of… well, now it was a sweet drink- coffee filled with sugar and cream and syrups that Tosa could barely remember the name of. They all came courtesy of Areia, who saw one cup of her black hazelnut coffee and threw a fit that had Mera ready to call Babe to handle the situation.
Tosa went along with Areia’s corrections at first, amused by her passion on the topic. After being handed the new drink, however, Tosa wondered if Areia could tell how impressed she was.
It was… fun. To sit with the other two Kyr and enjoy the hot coffee. Tosa demanded Areia repeat her recipes to write down and they quickly became a staple in her diet.
Truthfully, it was more delightful to bring an absurdly large thermos to her little hill, a little extra comfort while she worked through any of life’s troubles that arose.
